House!

So for those that don't follow me over on Facebook, or those that missed it over there, Brandon and I are buying a house in Southern New Hampshire, just off of Rt 3 (so I'm still only 45 minutes to Camberville and Boston)! We close at the end of July, and move in early August. It's new construction, which wasn't what we were specifically looking

You have a back hill rather than a back yard. I totally approve - that was one of the main reasons we bought our house.

Yea, Brandon's kinda excited about the physical property -- enough manicured front yard space to satisfy his aesthetic preference, but most of the land is up the back hill, which means he won't have to mow it. We will be able to fit a hot tub next to the deck, which we all know is important ;)

That is totally important, especially if you can figure an easy way to provide visual privacy for the tub.

My reaction to that deck photo is to start wondering what sort of pretty ground cover could be planted on that slope.

I don't know if it would work, but I'd be happy to give you some vinca cuttings (it stays green year round and has pretty purple flowers in the spring).
