Go to Music Outfitters and plug your birth year into the search engine. Copy all of the songs from the Top 100 list and bold the ones you actually like. (brynndragon ended up bolding everything she would sing along with, and that seemed like a decent criteria so I've kept it.)

Yes, I'm that young )

There are some good songs on that list! I haven't thought about #44 in ages...

I'm in the process of doing this myself. It's fun.

But I just have to say, you both make me feel positively decrepit. I know virtually all the songs on both your lists. As in, remember the original popularity of. And the ones I don't know I'm fairly confident I would recognize and enjoy if I heard them. :-(

And you really should listen to some of these ones that aren't bolded. Numbers 90, 91, 96, and 100 come to mind (I'm too lazy to actually look through the whole list for the best example...)

I just have no idea what they are. Feel free to make me a cd if you think i should listen to them. extra points if you put the john couger songs on and make it a happy 1982 mix. :-P

Ooh! A 1982 mix. To go with the 1970 mix I'm going to have to make after doing my own. I think my iTunes bill just went through the roof this month. :-)

So you are young but there are some great songs on this list.

P.S. Age is only a state of mind. Always thought you were wise
beyond your years.
