And just in time for swimsuit season.  It's National Donut day.  Throw caution to the wind.  Visit you favorite Krispy Kreme, Duncan Donut, or local shop today.  It's an American tradition.

I'm a Krispy Kreme glazed guy myself.  Trust me.  I'll have more than one.

Awesome. I had no idea. I went here this morning: http://www.5cdiner.com/index.html
And had a maple bacon donut! I actually just had a few bites of Eddie's cuz I don't like to eat pigs. It was good but not as good as you might expect!

You find the most quaint restaurants. Every place you eat has character. You have to be the coolest person I've never met.

I'm off to Krispy Kreme.

Dammit! I didn't know! You know my fave is KK original glazed. YUM. Maybe I should go put on my Krispy Kreme t-shirt. Yes I really do have one!

That's right. I got my dozen hot 'n now glazed plus a free lemon filled. If you ever run into me at Emerald Isle, my nickname is Shamu. I'll be the one floundering in the surf. But damn they are good.

I don't like filled donuts but lemon sounds DELISH!

I am the one in the bathing suit with a skirt!

I am all too familiar with skirted bathing suits. We're heading off to Emerald Isle on the 20th. Wife MD just bought two. Daughter JD did as well. That's after two hours at Sears; two hours at Penny's; and a drive by at Target, Belk, and Macy's. Bathing suit shopping for my girls is an all day ordeal. Daughter AD is the only one of the girls that is not emotionally exhausted after buying a bathing suit.

I told the girls if they were that self-conscience, why didn't they just purchase a camouflaged pup tent. Cut some holes for their head and arms. Then, they could walk down the beach in total privacy.

Regrettably, that comment sounded much funnier in my head than the spoken words proved to be. Oops. I'll never learn.

I'm going to eat my last glazed donut now.
