I have no gifs that properly show how exciting this is. There are no gifs. Four months went by almost effortlessly (easy to say that now lol). And I find myself already looking forward to the S1.5 rewatches in like four months XD
I am going to be thinking about this all day... and that's going to suck. I need to know who dies and it needs to be Jason someone I don't care about. And did you see poor Billy on the Today show with those women hosts? That's painful. Poor Billy.
New Promo (Charlie VO \o/)?
IDK. It's not important enough for a post - it has no new info. UGH I should get up now, but I don't want to. Make it 4pm Mercy, I still can't believe you haven't built that time machine (or finished that mood theme lmfao...I kid. Take your time).
I SHALL STICK IT (sounds really perverted but I DO WHAT I WANT apparently writing in CAPS today is it too...).
I have no gifs that properly show how exciting this is. There are no gifs. Girl, if there are not gifs able to express your feelings/emotions for tonight, THEN IT IS OKAY BECAUSE NOTHING IS BETTER THAN THE REAL FEEL. *nods*
Four months went by almost effortlessly (easy to say that now lol). Four months went by fast, now that we're here, but back then? We whined and flailed and moaned and headdesked. xD
And I find myself already looking forward to the S1.5 rewatches in like four months XD LOL, I was thinking about them too just this weekend. It will be GLORIOUS AND SOSOSOGOOD! We just have to remember the cookies. :P

I need to know who dies and it needs to be Jason someone I don't care about.HA, I have to survive the night AND tomorrow until I can watch it in the afternoon. Work will have to deal with a very itchy and flaily Mercy... Oh, please, let

I drove one of my co-workers crazy today anticipating the new episode tonight. I've gotten both her and her two sons hooked on Revolution as well. Every time I spoke with her today I counted down the hours until the episode aired. It was a running joke all day. But, at least it helped pass the time!!!
(n.b. I've been avoiding spoilers, so not sure how much of that I should have seen coming. I noticed something about a character death for this week, but we weren't sure of who, I take it?)
Comprehension questions-- Do we know what Miles and Rachel are talking about re: her purportedly dead body? We need a timeframe for her imprisonment. Was John introduced before? Is the last scene a mysterious sciency plot point?
Edit: does anyone know Gawyn from the Wheel of Time series? That "I totally will use this superweapon to further the cause of good!" parallel was what came into my mind at the end.
Do we know what Miles and Rachel are talking about re: her purportedly dead body? We need a timeframe for her imprisonment.
No, we are still in the dark (pardon the bad pun) on the background to that conversation. And yeah, a timeline would be most welcomed.
Was John introduced before?
No, this was his first appearance, and I'm wondering which side he'll end up on. He's aligned with Randall now, but that was coerced, so how committed is he to Randall's cause, whatever that is.
Is the last scene a mysterious sciency plot point?
OMG, I wish I knew. I didn't see that coming and I'm trying to think of any justification for Rachel (and perhaps Ben as well?) insert something involved in their science project in their toddler aged son's body. Not scoring any points with me here, Rachel, you're really not.
Best scene: This is a tough question. I think the entire episode was intense and worth the wait...well, maybe it was worth a three month wait! However, I think best scenes were Danny's scenes. He finally gets something meaningful to do and he ends up dead. But he becomes his own person in the scene when he tells Charlie she's not responsible for him, and he was at last someone I was interested it

I'm guessing the blinky capsule was part of that mysterious proceedure to regulate their kid's one veined heart that Rachel is now going to weaponise? I vote nanites. It's my pet theory and if I'm right maybe there's a chance of a Nanite-Danny zombie. I am holding out hope

Totally with you. Although in the thing about the episode they almost made it sound like it was making him sick. So maybe it kept something working but hindered other functions, meaning he'd never be healthy.
(OT: I love her practicality. She's always thinking, planning, strategising. She knew the whole time that it was in him, she obviously considered it, and she pursued other options in the meantime. So when Danny was gone, when she'd lost something else, it just clicked off in her head - to get it now. She keeps acting on her own too, which I love (I mean I want her to trust Charlie, but) - she's not used to relying on anyone and so she just doesn't.)
Kripke has answered all of ONE of my questions - what DID Miles think had happened to Rachel? - and raised about five more - what's the Tower, what's level 12, if Randall is so scary why has he been sitting on his

I did love that their big problem was getting the lifts working...I am not *currently* hating on Rachel/Miles because it is so full of bitterness, grief and responsibility on both sides. They might have a couple of moments - but they won't enjoy them :)
+ Jason *shakes fist at the sky* ...just stop. Go away. + Danny you were growing on me. Go figure. + Nora you almost make me want Rachel and Miles to happen so that you'll get a backbone again...yep, I feel that strongly. + Monroe never stop being crazy. Now, if you could direct some crazy at Charlie I'd appreciate it, K? + Miles you need to tell Nora it's not going to happen, now. Also, you better have a talk to Charlie next week and bloody notice she's going darkside.

Best scenes:+ BB!Charlie and BB!Danny - ugh the cute-tragicness. I love them ♥ (Charlie's good in all forms

Your Revelation of the Week: RACHEL AND HER CHOICE OF HIDING SPOTS...like, wuh. Did you care about Danny the person, or Danny the vessel?
She keeps surprising me. She's not a good person (in the way I would define 'good' - helpful, sincere, honest, trusting, sweet, lovable...etc) and I swear to god she's on a mission to out grey every other character on the show.I don't know how to understand her, I can't grip her character like I can everyone else - I'm fascinated, yet confused. And, I don't want her to stop being that way. She's working against all the stereotypes I can think of and it's wonderful.
Anything else:+ BEN \o/ ...I like Ben, IDC that he's ineffective, his face makes me happy. Still, Miles and Rachel (and Danny and Charlie) are sharing breathing space and Ben doesn't come up until the 'adults' leave - WUH. HELLO. LET DOWN
( ... )
+ Jason is a terrible soldier, and it's like he hasn't been paying attention the last fifteen years - with that sudden moral outrage. Were Julia and Tom keeping him in the basement this whole time? I can see why.
+ I was happy to see Nicholas again, if only because for five seconds Nora acted normal.
+ How many issues did anyone work out this episode? Minus several dozen. We went right back to square one. A Matheson is dead, a misson needs to be carried out. Miles is conflicted between loyalties, Nora's not sure why she's there, Aaron wants to go home and Charlie's aware she's changing, yet unable to stop herself. I mean I like issues, but at least have the Matheson's enjoying a moment every now and then (coffin hugging doesn't count).
+ Last Jason one: I believe he was 100% against killing those rebels because Charlie was there. I believe that wholeheartedly. (And I think less of him for it
( ... )
I think Charlie was the catalyst for Jason standing up to his father, but not the whole reason why. It's like Charlie lifted the blinders over his eyes.

And this is what the evolution of my emotional state will look like during the episode:

You can sticky post this, M - just add a ' COUNTDOWN INDEX CARD (AKA, THE COUNTDOWN LINK POST)' link somewhere so we can find that stuff.
