+ Aaron is allergic to bees, we learn that within minutes of the pilot...and I kinda hope that was just a throw away line and not something we're going to actually encounter later on. (Though it'd be and interesting fict idea) I think with Maggie gone, losing Aaron would sort of break something in me - he's not my favorite character (yet?) but...I really need him in the safe character zone with Charlie and Miles. (Because I'm a wuss)
+ Charlie was 5 y.o when the power went out (I think I read somewhere she was born in 2007?), and she looked to be about the same age as Maggie's eldest son, Elliott, right? Soooo....can we please find Maggie's grown up (pirate, I want a pirate. An english pirate) son at some point. I'd prefer UST between them to the romeo/juliet thing we've got with...'Nate'. He could have a similar story to Charlie, he was always supposed to look after his little brother - but he failed - and we get to see the contrast
( ... )
+ Okay, also - the spec/want/whatever that Charlie is Monroe's daughter (and therefore not related to Miles, so M/C isn't wrong)... at first I was all, taking the easy way out Fandom. But IDK... my Muse started thinking about it - about what ifs - and I'm coming around to the idea. I mean I don't think it'll happen in Canon - it'd be far more shocking if Danny was Monroe's kid - but I love that Bad-Guy-has-soft-spot-for-family thing. He'll conquer the world, slit throats left and right but when it comes to his kid...he's almost like any other father, protective, sweet, a little bit funny. Charlie Vs Monroe interests me...is there any fic on it yet? Coz there needs to be.
I might come back if I think of more random things...
Note: Mercy and I (Thursday) are NBC_Rev Mods btw, in case that wasn't clear. *laughs* It just occurred to me that that's not actually written anywhere. So by contact a Mod, Mercy means us. And we don't bite promise :D
Can I just say how much I love the contrasts in this show?
Maggie, doing everything in her power to get back to her two kids, spending years wandering the country (on foot) in search of a way, any way to get home - before giving up and deciding to kill herself
( ... )
Just going to jump in here and say hell yes I want Maggie's son to show up as an english pirate because that would be the best thing to ever exist ever.
Can I say that I love that Jeremy admitted to watching One Life to Live? And he called Miles "kitten"! I had to rewind the scene a couple times and turn up the volume but still, hilarious details.
There's something that's been bothering me about Miles. I keep thinking that for some reason he planned everything out. The one scene that made me think something was up was the fact that he let Jeremy live in episode three. The first time I get it, for the trade but the second time? Why would he let him live? I'm trying to disregard my shipper heart here It doesn't seem strategic at all. Also! I rewatchd the episodes the other day and I sort of felt his reaction in learning of his brother's death felt so... nonchalant? Then again it might have been the alcohol. Idk this is just a rambly thought and might be unfounded.
Pop culture references are always good in times of stress XD
And he called Miles "kitten"!
Well, now I need to go back and see that. Coz that's adorable.

It's his friend, someone he's known 15 years, the first person he saved - you don't kill that person unless you have to. IMO Jeremy's an inconvenience, a troublemaker, he's not a threat, not in the way everyone else coming after them is. If it comes to it, Miles will kill him, but I think there's a reason he ran and hid instead of fought back or joined the rebels/resistance...I think loyalties - old and new - are very important to him. Perhaps the last thing you can hold onto

No your ramblings are good! They've got me thinking about this Miles fic I'm writing which college is trying to distract me from. Mostly I'm trying to figure Miles out but since we've only got five episodes to go on, it's proving to be a little difficult.
I definitely want Jeremy back. His sass and his talk about the past is just begging to be in future scenes.

Now I need to rewatch the episode, because if he called him "kitten".... I need fic, lots of yummy fic. Then again Miles is also known for inappropriate nicknames- "Nipples" anyone?
Speaking of which- does Miles know Jason? He knows of Julia, cause he asked Neville 'how's the wife?', but has he met Julia and Jason? Cause Jason and Miles didn't seem to recognize each other in episodes 1+4...
