I hate clowns too. I have yet to meet a person who likes clowns. They should be extinct, like mimes.
Charlie is the best, forever and always :D
And yes I love her initiative. She's not going to be invited to save the world (I don't understand where Rachel expects her to go...if not with Miloe - who I assume Rachel understands are a packaged deal rn - Is Charlie expected to go on fighting alone?), so of course she invites herself.
That Miles line about hating her, really bothered me. Like omg no you don't. You have many issues, but most of them are with yourself, Bass or Rachel.
And I think you're right, M, he does love her get up and go, he just hates her get and up and go leaving him behind, and forcing him to do things he doesn't want to do. He finally had a simple life again. Kill Patriots. Hang out with his BFF and his niece. Everything was good. And now it's back to RL. And crazy

I actually didn't like it. I feel like they're dragging it on, they could have covered this in part 1. We have only two more parts to wrap up the whole show--are they really going to concentrate only on Bradbury and the nanites?
Also, I felt that Miles was being an asshole. I would have expected that kind of talk from Monroe, but not from him. It's like they've retconned all of his character development. And Charlie is always awesome, but her line about family isn't sitting right with me either. I mean, I know she has issues with her mom, but those issues don't extend to her entire family.
My thoughts exactly. It's like they're acting like no-character-development versions of themselves - I had to read that page twice to see if it was Miles that said "I hate that girl." That just seems too mean to me.
Argh. Well...I wish they'd done more this issue too. And the art is driving me nuts.
I'm completely ignoring the art, because yes, it's so bad. But I could live with that if the story turned out to be good. I really hope the next chapters are better than this.
I don't know if it's dragging, but it seems to be focussing in on weird moments that I don't think we have time for given the brief window of canon we have...and they seem to be actively ignoring things that I would like to see/hear from the characters.
And I agree about Miles. Tho I wouldn't expect it from Monroe, he and Rachel - as far as I'm concerned - reached a tense agreement last season. She thanked him even

I didn't like it as much as chapter 1, mostly because it left me with a lot of questions about everyone's motivations.
Did Charlie go just to shut everyone up? Or did she just want some attention from her mother? Or was she just bored of killing Patriots and wanted a new enemy? A bigger enemy. Is she worried about Connor? Does she care that Miles and her mother are getting along about as well as Monroe and her mother were in S2? Why didn't she hug Aaron? (Coz that's her normal - HEY THERE'S AARON - response to his appearance). Has she also got a problem with Aaron?
Is anyone going to let Priscilla get more than 4 words in? Is she basically going to be background to the dramas of everyone else? Why even come then? Maybe she should have stayed 'home'.
How is Monroe staying so cool, calm and collected through everything? He seems, dare I say it...happy. Which is weird, because his son is missing. He should care about that. Or at least mention how he's okay with letting Connor have his freedom from the craziness that follows all of
