I find for me the more words the better, as I can't shut it down sometimes. Drabbles are HARD.

Wait, we're not allowed to write more than 100 words for the prompt table?

It's the word limit - 3 sentences or up to 100 words.

I assumed due to the fact we're a year into cancellation I shouldn't put too much pressure on everyone. But it seems everyone was quite happy with the pressure actually, and no one really read the whole PT post...

It sounds like you should vote for more words :)

Basically, I assumed someone would write 100 words for the table, get inspired and end up writing a longer fic that could be linked to.

Why have a word limit at all? You could leave it open so each person can write as much (or as little) as they want.

Anyway, I voted for more words.

IMO having no limits scares people because some writers have no trouble writing a couple thousand words at the drop of a hat, while others struggle for a drabble or ficlet. Plus there's 50 prompts. If we're hoping to complete on average one a day we can't expect lengthy fics, or perfection or endless edits.

It's of the moment. It's I was thinking about this little nugget of a story as I waited at the stop lights this morning. It's sporadic and unplanned.

I think 500s plenty of space for a story (and that looks like the winner atm) and more is discouraging to someone who just wants to write a little something. I want everyone to feel like they can contribute, even if their muse has stopped taking their calls, even if their muse has been kidnapped by another fandom, or they've never written for Revo before, or they haven't written in months...I want the expectations to be relaxed.

Am I... over thinking it?

LET'S HAVE A BOOK CHAT! We could talk either talk about each chapter seperately? About the scenes, the dialogue/text, the EVERYTHING! \o/

Book Chat sounds fun (OMG I wish these were long graphic novels so bad). But I was thinking it'd be easier to talk about two together since they're so short and lacking new material/canon separately?

But yesssss let's discuss everything. Like it's a liveblog but words. I mean I've been thinking about it all week and Charlie and Bass are bored, it's not that the Patriots have given up putting in the effort - mailing it in - it's that CM2 have been wiping them out for months on end.

They want a new challenge, they're going to agree to go on Rachel's suicide mission because they're bored.

...At least that's my interpretation.

I feel my whining may have precipitated this - sorry? I seem to think in 500 word chunks, so that was a good wordlength for me. Not that the discipline of a drabble is a bad thing ... but I spent more time honing it down than actually writing, so ... my vote is for 500. (With an asterisk for 'will probably go over anyway.)

and talking about the comic is a great idea :D

It wasn't whining. It was questioning, no apology necessary.

And TBH I didn't really think much about the word limit until you brought it up.

If 500's in the lead on Monday, I'll update the post. It looks like whatever it is, it'll be more than 100.

Naturally I voted that I just like to vote in polls.

Didn't vote for the word count, because I don't know if my muse will cooperate, so I don't want to impose my limits on others, if their muse is on fire.
