Gonna sound like a silly question, but has anyone tried calling the phone number? Since JJ Abrams is loosely connected (kinda, maybe, not really anymore) to this show, is there any chance they could be doing any of those weird multimedia easter egg games like they did after the first season of Lost? I know... I'm reading way too much into this and being overly optimistic...
Also, this was hysterical. The "there's two more" slayed me. Who thinks power and status hungry Julia's still with him at this point? I mean, he is on tv, but probably not the kind of notoriety Julia was hoping for...
I was thinking the same thing about the phone number because one of the commercials a few weeks ago gave out a number and some guy called it and won free tickets to the Super Bowl.
OMG I just called it, it's pretty awesome someone needs get this soundbite, seriously. I can just imagine them going to Giancarlo and him going "this sounds amazing"
I might have flipped the F out just a little when I found out that it was actually an Easter egg. I totally played along for the whole big saga they did with Lost, and it was pretty fantastic. Thank you others for calling and reporting! I have this weird phobia about cold calling numbers I don't know, so I couldn't bring myself to do it until I knew that it was going to be Tom Neville on the other end of the line. It was amazing. I wonder how long they'll leave it up, because I want to call it forever any time I'm having a bad day or need a laugh or whatever. See show - find your JJ Abrams roots and stick with that. Give us cookies/Easter eggs and flashbacks (with that weird metal drum noise) and flash sidewayses (or whatever) and AWESOMENESS!
Everybody seems to be comparing 2.15 to the kind of things they did on Lost in the media/social media (and this Easter egg really helps), which can only help Revo. I'm super excited for this ep. And in the spirit of shared Lost/Revo themes - Bass is my constant! :)
