The fic: (I call everything longer than 500 words a fic) is fabulous, I love the angsty atmosphere and the way you built the story. Though I wonder, I suppose Miles didn’t know Rachel & Ben and the kids lived there and he only found out when he saw Charlie? Or did he know and still had it burned on purpose. Both would be so like General Matheson. In either case, I like that was the way he brought the family to Philly and made Rachel and Ben prisoners. And then he left later, overcome by his conscience, I gather. It’s brilliant. And I liked how it corresponds to canon ( ... )
