1. If you have more than one gift, please try to post them all in one entry. (If you're still working on some gifts but have already finished another and absolutely cannot wait to make your giftee happy, you may make more than one post.)
2. Please put in your subject line: Gift(s) for [your giftee's name] from [your name]
3. Use cuts and links were appropriate.
...which I thought went rather well :D (BUT DON'T READ MY COMMENTS TO THAT POST. IT'S LIKE THE FIVE STAGES OF ACCEPTANCE IN THERE FOR ALL TO SEE)
I'm glad you're excited. I am too \o/
And hey Mercy, what happened to that moodtheme you were making? (I'd forgotten about that and past!me reminded me)
Thank you so much! I appreciate the clarification. And I am super excited about my assignment. I at least know where to take it, which is more than I can say for some writing I've done. LOL
Coz it's different from anything I've done up to this point, because of my prompts...and because I've been trying to get a bit more skilled in graphics (I'm starting with the graphics so that I am endorphin-y, before I work around to fic...where I will be sigh-y and overdramatic).
But it's looks good. I think. And it's making me happy.
I'll have my stuff ready by Dec. 20 no prob. But I will be out of town Dec. 25 and don't know the state of my internet situation. I'll be somewhere (really depressing actually! poo) where I am not usually... So I'm just wondering about the disparity between when we are to have the stuff ready and when it is actually posted. I would like my person to have their stuff on Christmas (or as close to as possible). Do you guys post the gifts or do we?
Does my question even make sense? I feel really dumb right now. *slush, slush*
Okay, I'm sure Mercy will swan in with a proper response, but in the meanwhile:
You guys post the gifts.
So, my suggestion is to take advantage of the schedule posts feature (it's the bestest thing I have discovered LJ can do, since paging), I use it for the RotW posts and the Rewatch posts, because then I know it's all taken care of and I don't need to worry about it. I've checked the settings and I think you can post unmoderated, so it should work.
That way you can finish up by Dec 20 (or whenever), post it - but mark it to be posted Dec 25th (by changing the calendar at the top of the post) at whatever time you want (it will be YOUR timezone tho, so keep that in mind if your person's from somewhere else)...and you can still edit it right up until it posts.
No, you're not embarrassing yourself. :) They're legitimate questions.
It's up to you. If you rather want to post them separately, you can.
The 20th is sort of a deadline-is-coming-closer-date because from previous SS I know that some people aren't finished at the 24th. It's better to be finished early and have a little air to breathe (maybe even come up with something else for the giftee). :D

And yes it's to the Comm.
Mercy's really awesome with follow up reminder posts and format posts so she'll let us know when it's time and what to do.
The format we had last time was:
