“Well, what we love about Julia and what Kim has done with the character is that she kind of out Nevilles Neville,” he says. “She’s every bit of cunning and conniving as her husband, if not more so.

I think this is my favourite thing Kripke has said in a while.

And I'm ridiculously glad they ALWAYS planned to keep Julia living.

I love New Vegas.

Lols quietly over the 'hot girls' description. Oh dear.

I don't know what to think about the 'Church goers' thing...like I want a cult adventure to happen (have since that guy ranting in 1.02), but then...I also don't because it's messy enough as it is?

It's probably really innocent.

And I swear I'm going to masterlist these stupid extra casting things. Because they're confusing, it looks like the Porters (Charlie inc.) stay together and Miles and Monroe run off with/to/after 'Connor' but Nov 18th is hella confusing Miloe and maybe the Nevilles...and maybe Priscilla? ...I assume the '/' means they have to either stand in for multiple characters or they may need to do one or more. IDK ( ... )

I am so glad they are hitting New Vegas again...but seriously? Only lady sex workers? Man this is a very cisnormative post-apocalypse.

I am glad they have plans to keep Julia around and do more than they did in season one with her. I do giggle at the whole plotty part, because ... They are Lord and Lady Macbeth. Julia has a mind like a bag of ferrets; Tom and the fact she does love him is what always held her back. He isn't plotty, he isn't that clever. His whole plan with murdering poor old Allenford depended entirely on Mr Allenford being a complete failure as a viable threat to anyone but an already tied up woman with a festering gut wound.

Ok, his whole thing with tying ye olde Patriot to the bed was good. And that moment he betrayed the Rebels. Once he hits the bigger scale plots though, things get a bit ropey.

I know...but it's Kripke's world, we just watch it.

Me too. (And on a shallow note I forgot how pretty Kim was...her hair is even more goldeny than Elizabeth's. And her EYES, Cory. HER EYES. They're almost amber, like lioness eyes.)

Julia talks the talk, I wanna see her actually take action.

Small part of me's hoping Doyle (her new husband's last name...I think?) dies at her hand. And I want it to be a stabbing because that's more intimate...and I have issues. Clearly. But I can see her almost doing it sweetly, because she does care for him. But he's outlived his usefulness.

Tom and the fact she does love him is what always held her back. He isn't plotty, he isn't that clever.

I know. And I kind of love that?

She's always choosing to stay at his pace. She loves Tom and she loves their family, but she craves power.

She has to flex her manipulative intelligence, so she puppets Tom around, fulfilling both needs.

Once he hits the ( ... )

I am doing a trope prompt meme on Tumblr :) pick a pairing and a prompt and run with it @corycideswrites. I will put it on my LJ too. (And one prompt! Not all the prompts :)).

I think that is why I like T beat when he is with Julia? We see his weaknesses and her strengths so much more clearly. Without Julia, Neville is just a pompous little man with a nasty line in misogyny. With her - they just play off each other so well! Really though, it is no surprise Jason was able to deal more or less with the re-education. I mean, welcome to his childhood essentially. (Less of the killing, but plenty of bullying and manipulation.)

New Daddy I like to call Doyle :

Finally, something Kripke says that doesn't enrage me and I actually agree with. Julia is a HBIC and the real brains in the Neville family- thank God she's back! But now I'm worried they'll kill her off again, when she has to go film 24.

Wait, what about all those Cynthia casting calls? Were they only up to 2X9, or were they misleading? And are they bringing Priscilla back to be Aaron's new love interest? Dear God I hope not, let her be happy with her new family, she deserves better than Aaron.

That's all I got.
