After those last few days with frustration I just need this.

My DSL line broke down (again!) on Friday morning.
For the third time. In three and a half months.

Had an electrician in my flat blurbing ununderstandable bullshit about fluctuations in the cable and DSL signal

German Telekom used to be a public (state) authority. It's not any more, but still has the semi-monopoly on all telecommunication services over here. And it acts like a monopolist. It's disgusting. Although I pay for DSL to some other provider, Telekom still owns the lines and everything. Very confusing.
