The stone thing was sweet and the ending was too funny. I wouldn't worry about whether or not you digress, it really didn't feel that way.

Thanks, I liked the stone bit, too. I know somebody who collects those stones and he keeps losing them, too, that's where I got the idea from.

I don't know should I be crying or laughing at Kakashi, because this situation is so hilarious, yet extremely depressing. He just doesn't know anything that isn't valuable for a shinobi. He's like a clumsy child in a grown man's body. It's rather heart-breaking. *sighs*

Oh, by the way, it was nice that Iruka wasn't such cry-baby like he was in the last chapter.

Thanks. I didn't mean Iruka to be a cry-baby at all, he just seemed to be a little emotional in the last chapter. I believe he's strong and capable, but maybe everything was too much at once for him.

Kakashi....... GAI??? *scrolls up to reread that part*
that was perfect.
I love the part about the stones, and the really clueless Kakashi- I think it kind of suits him.

and don't worry about non-important stuff- they are as important as the real storyline.
Thanks for sharing that ^^

Yes, he really asked Gai for dating advice. Must have been rather desperate if you ask me. I would have asked Tsunade maybe in his position.

I always find the "non important stuff" really make a story. They are what show the character who they are. The important stuff is for the plot while the squishy stuff is character development. All good stories have both.

I really liked this. Poor Kakashi, he's going to be so confused. I think he's already falling in love and doesn't know it.

Thanks. I guess he's rather stumbling in love. But who could resist determined Iruka?

Yay! More to this story!

I really like the slow learning to love thing...the whole turning into a human thing. You've done a wonderful job writing out the process. This had me smiling - the discussing of apple pancakes, laughing - Tsuande reaction and her sending Shizune to check on Iruka, sad - Kakashi is struggling so hard to make Iruka happy...laughing harder with the Gai advice. I truly love this! Look forward to more!

Thanks. I will have the story and Kakashi process very slowly. (If Iruka jumped him, he'd probably kill him accidentally anyway...)
And I think for Kakashi, pancakes and Iruka are being human at this point. They're the first things he experienced as a wannabe-human.
