It still hurts a lot, like any break up would, but it's something that's been coming for a long time, and I kinda wish it happened sooner.

Now I'm realising that I let myself go a lot during the relationship because I was so comfortable, I never wear makeup EVER, I've put on a shit load of weirght, and I've lost a lot of confidence. It's time to get all back.

There's a heap of reasons why we broke up, but as we have a lot of mutual friends on LJ, I might tell you one day on MSN

yeah, break ups are shit and difficult to go through, but at least you can see a positive in it, which definitely makes it easier.

good to hear you're getting your confidence back though, sometimes it takes a break up to get you motivated to start looking hot again haha

Yeah, I guess it's good that I always try and look for the positives in the negatives, I'm a firm believer that 90% of the time you're only depressed because you want to be.

Before I didn't really care what I looked like when I went out, because I know my friends love me the way I am, and I know I'm going home with someone at the end of the night. I still know my friends love me, but I think it will be good to take a little bit more pride in my appearances....
