I had an exciting weekend with realms_of_life, whereupon I did many things. Kind of. We originally were going to go see Narnia on Saturday, but we spent forever looking for a place to eat. We finally settled in at Friday's, which made the cardinal sin of serving appetizers at the same time as the entre. I was not pleased. So we decided to hold off on Narnia ( Read more... )

I was made very happy by Star Driver 11, and I suspect that the whole series is just a ridiculous guilty pleasure for me now, haha. I'm glad that Sugata is finally starting to do something with himself. I happily await him doing more of this!

Seriously, I loved the talk between Sugata and Head so I was totally expecting for him to do something stupid the whole episode. I spent half of the fight going "But two against one is so unfair!" so I was delighted when Sugata agreed with me. He was so slick about it too. I love the idea of joint piloting the Cybodies. Star Driver is also my guilty pleasure. I expect nothing out of it but fun slash, trio awesomeness and creativity in mech design. I'm good with that.

On an unrelated note, many bloggers are saying the Legend of the Legendary Heroes has more shonen ai overtones than Togainu no Chi, and I have to AGREE with them. orz

Hahaha yeah. I-I can't decide if I want him to have his own Cybody or just combo with Takuto always. And just when I was getting exasperated with Wako's "NO DON'T DO IT" every time he tried to help, haha.

I haven't heard much about Legend of the Legendary Heroes. Though...looking at the ANN page, it looks sort of familiar...:|a Are you enjoying it? I'll totes check it out if you think it's worthwhile. \o\

I like Wako, I do. But her refusal to every let Sugata help (while understandable) makes me want to smack her if just so I can get my slash work-together fix. And yes, it is a hard decision. :|a

Legend has amazing characters and a fairly complex storyline. It is a bit uneven in pacing, with random crank thrown in from time to time and an obsession with lolis. But it has some good tropes and relationship between Sion and Ryner is terribly tragic and almost an inverse Suzaku/Lelouch. Inverse in that the ditzy but sekrit angst Ryner is the one with the power, while hopeful but so completely doomed Sion is the king.
