Lots and lots of rain last night. It's still booming far away right now, but the forecast says it is supposed to clear off and be sunny soon, and definitely for this afternoon. I hope so - we have a "rain date" in place for this party, but it leaves us with an option we don't want to take!

And OMG, the sea of orange continues...

WOOOOH ORANGE!!! I remember those days, but back then we had ninja turtles to "cover" for all my orangeness. Is Orangeness a word!? Tell Jack Happy B-day!

The orange thing amuses me, particularly because today is Orangemen's Day (Protestant Celebration of Battle of the Boyne in Northern Ireland). My dad's birthday is today, and sometimes it amuses his friends/family to give him random orange presents (once he got a set of gifts including Orange Jell-O) to annoy him.

you had a *perfect* day for a party. =) we had a teeball picnic on the schedule and i was worried we'd be rained out, but it was fabulous out there today!!
