My boss has been really frustrating me today. See, with the store changing chains, we've got lots of extra paperwork. This extra paperwork only started 3 weekends ago, but it takes quite a bit of extra time to complete it, and as such, I've not been leaving here until almost 6:45 lately, instead of the usual 6pm. Still, I've been doing it, at least

Seems like the change is giving her too much stress and making her a complete pill. You don't need this kind of BS in your life though. The reason you stayed there when you had every reason not to was because you enjoyed the job. Incidents like this negates that reason. And of course what happened later that day really should make your decision about what to do an easy one. It seems that all they did after the first robbery is make it harder to get into the safe. This does nothing to protect you, only their money. There's leaving out of fear and leaving because it really isn't safe. You stood up to the fear and won. Go You. Now it's time to demand some serious change. If they can't or won't I hope you don't go back there.
