At home, Norrington disappeared directly into his room for some peace and quiet, only to find the basket of oranges still gracing his table.  He swore foully and tossed aside his coat to lay back on his bed with his eyes closed.  “I haven’t been so tired in ages.”  It wasn’t like Commodore Norrington to speak when there ( Read more... )

I don't think I said how much I love things like the present of oranges, which bring the difference between now and the 18th Century home in a way the clothes somehow don't. Oh, and I also meant to say 'yay' for Gillette's fine baritone singing voice - the man has a voice that deserves more praise than it gets ;)

I loved the ball in this one - the sense that people are enjoying themselves. It's become a bit of a cliche that the navyboys dread a ball because of the husband-hunting young ladies, so it was extremely refreshing to see them actually having a good time.

As for the seduction I think I'm sufficiently incoherant not to be able to say anything , other than 'guh' :) Absolutely glorious! But I have to mention Andrew’s plain features were beautiful to him in that moment, when it had been so long since he’d found beauty in much of anything. He kissed the man without thought because it makes my inner Gillington fangirl go 'squee'. And also the men that cradled him like parentheses because that's just a lovely turn of phrase ( ... )

Wow! Thank you so much for all the glowing praise; it really puts a smile on my face to know that people enjoy fanfic as much as I do and can get such a kick out of my stories.

Thanks for the head's up about the Gillette community; I'm always looking for new places to post.

And I'm really glad I'm in the PotC fandom right now; I'm having so much fun with it!

It's been a very long time since there was a new Naval threesome fic, so it was quite a joyous occasion :) I'm glad you're having fun with PotC - on the strength of this it certainly seems that your fun is our fun too and I can only encourage you to have more ;)

ooooh...thats was such a lovely story. I second the sentiment of loving the gift of oranges-it made it so much mroe authentic.
And the French, as I'm sure you know, was fine for the most part-the only thing which confused me was the term 'Tu me fourchai' as I couldn't find a translation for fourchai-i tried a few different possible infinitives, but couldn't find a match. The only thing I got was fourcher-fork. Which I'm sure isn't what you meant. I think the verb you want is 'enculer', although it is a 'vulgar' verb, but it would fit into context here.

Great story-I love it-be sure and post more here please! I want to read le prochaine histoire. :)
