Lord Edrington awakes- some time before noon

Feb 22, 2006 11:54

Lord Edrington is shaken awake by his orderly, Forrest, who is holding a steaming cup of coffee and looking contrite. He opens his eyes, remembering where he is and-- he runs a hand through his tousled, unbound hair-- what had happened the night before. That was unexpected, and really very pleasant indeed. Quite an auspicious start to the voyage. However, he's not certain what time it is, but he can tell that he overslept and is not happy about that. He lets Forrest dress him while listening to apologies about being unfamiliar with the damn naval routines, then goes out into the empty wardroom to drink his coffee and eat the food that Forrest had managed to procure for him. Having seen no one, he decides to go up on deck.

OOC: I'm assuming that Archie is still in Horatio's cabin talking to him, so that's why no one is around, and that at this point Norrington will find Edrington or vice versa.
