Lyrics almost always sound kind of stupid without the music, but this is criminal. I think what's disturbing is not that these were written but that they didn't languish forever in the author's filing cabinet, pulled out occasionally so the author could "entertain" wincing friends. Somewhere, somebody thought this was a good enough idea that they invested money in it. Numerous theater people thought it was good enough to accept employment. Mass madness!

Perhaps the lyrics are bad on purpose? Like in Shoggoth on the Roof? Except those lyrics are much better than these here.
