Pirate Art!!!

I tried a Mucha style. I don't think I pulled it off because its not as soft as Al Mucha's women are, but I really like the border and I'm happy with my little birds.

I'm sorry Jack Sparrow is so girly, but again - Mucha's women are very feminine and I wanted to get that look.

I can see it with the fabric and the framing. Very Mucha. I like that idea. I like it. I can't help but think though that with that style and Sparrow's very beaded hair there is a match made in heaven to be found somewhere.

Man, when I was getting further in the painting, I was thinking that Jack needed some jewels on his hands and in his hair - but I guess I forgot to put them in! Oops! :)

Im glad you like the style, I may do another and try to make it more Mucha-esque with thick curving lines. Maybe James?

Aye- Jack drawn in Mucha style is an excellent idea! This is a fine first effort, but there's lots more potential to explore.

One suggestion: you might want to show Jack's feet next time, he has such lovely ones...
