Mint tea leaves anyone?

My cold is pretty much gone and I am feeling much better. After spending the last few weeks dragging my ass around and being whiny and pessimistic, I've decided to make the most of the rest of the summer, and especially this weekend. I made a list of things I want to get done this weekend. I really need to get my motivation back ( Read more... )

I recommend making mint tea with fresh mint rather than dried, since you have such an abundance. It's fantastically yummy. You need rather more mint, and to let it steep longer, but it's entirely worth the wait.

I usually drink tea made with fresh mint in the summer months. But since I don't take my mint inside in the winter, I make sure to dry some for the fall and winter. And of course I dry some to give to wonderful, tea-drinking friends who happen to be moving soon.... :)

My brother is also having difficulties with a mint-eating critter, so let me know whether you discover what's been eating it.

oma used to grow mint at the farm, i shall ask her about the critters next time i talk to her.
