Third chemo done yesterday, I'm almost halfway through. It was the best one yet, because after the little side effects (my stomach burns something awful everytime), we decided to start on the drip really slow for fifteen minutes, and then turn it up to the proper flow. So yesterday I didn't get to do any therapy after all. My therapist had a family emergency, so five minutes after getting there I collected my coat and stuff and went downtown to buy some christmas gifts. I'M BACK! My, what a long trip. I left at 8 am, arrived home at 4 pm. I was very nervous, because last january when I came back home the power was off, the food in the fridge had died and gone through the whole Romero experience, and the whole flat was cold and smelly and it took me three days and a lot of bleach to get it back in working order. Tomorrow is the last day of this short visit, but I'm making the most of it. I baked with my eldest cousin, and the whole family fell in love with our brownies. We made a lot, but they won't last the day, I'm afraid.
