This is the story of how jainaj, mrbuttmonkey, jossno1fan and I did not meet Neil Patrick Harris, but spent 5 hours in his company and that was good enough for us!
You have nothing to apologise for, you were a very well behaved fan. If you'd have been crazy camera girl, I would have told you to get a hold of yourself...
How on earth did you remember all that? Seriously, you have a brain like a steel trap! Well done!
It's SUCH a shame you didn't stay till the end. There were only about 90 people left by the end and Neil got so much more relaxed. I like to think that if he did another taping it would be a different atmos.
Did you hear? They are broadcasting The Cube! I think it's on 22nd March or something.
It comes from years of going to conventions and then writing them up afterwards! Once I did a 20,000 word report of a three day event - that's longer than my dissertation was!
My friends managed to stay until just before the last game that the 4th contestant played, and then they started to worry about trains too so they ducked out.
Is that for definite about it being broadcast? All I've heard is the March 14th date which came in an article about Minute To Win It on NBC which the NY Mag seemed to think is the same as The Cube but actually is a totally different show - just very similar.
Although I did think you wrote "It was while she was in the Cube for this game that Neil wandered over to where we were sitting and leant on the barrier that we had our baps against." and had to re-read it a couple of times.
Also, I LOL-ed at the girl on the coach who you thought was dead.
Well Neil is notoriously a fan of boobs so if we did have our baps against a barrier he would probably indeed have made his way straight to us!
I was so relieved when we stopped in Sheffield and she moved to sit next to her mother. Why she had not been next to her mother all along I have no idea. It was weird. The person sitting next to her mother got off in Sheffield so why her mother hadn't said "Erm, excuse me, that's my daughter's seat" when somebody she didn't know tried to sit there, I have no idea. Poor girl!
I am astonished you read it all! I don't have a prize for you though. Ryan got the only one, and you wouldn't have wanted it anyway...

You did miss me recounting many hilarious anecdotes that I bet you'd forgotten even happened, though.

And jolly good! You were too far over for me to see that, Jaina's arms were in the way.
