Look into my eyes
So, today I finally kicked off my 100 movies in 2008!
Hils and I went into Leeds and saw Dan in Real Life. Now, I generally despise Steve Carell so I wasn't sure about this, but my paper liked it when they reviewed it yesterday so I thought I'd give it a try, and Hils wanted to see that the most out of the things that were on.
After a trip to Nando's that involved a long wait for a table and then wolfing down the food when it came, we saw the film, which I actually liked a lot. I liked Steve Carell a lot more when he's not being all "out there". It was really funny, too, though I've decided I don't like Juliette Binoche very much. I mean, I was rooting for them, but I didn't think she was very good.
More annoying, though, were the people talking, leaving, and throwing things through the film. Somebody threw what I think was a water bottle down to the front, meaning I got dripped on. It's not like we're at a festival and beer is being thrown, people! You're in the CINEMA.
Vent over!
Dracula 2000 was on last night so I watched that (well - taped it, watched some of it and finished it tonight). Didn't like that at all. Very boring!

**Suburban Girl - I enjoyed this a hell of a lot more than I expected, I thought it was just going to be some trashy thing! The mark would have probably been an 8 or 8.5 if it wasn't for Alec Baldwin - I just don't really like him!
+It was unintentional that I watched these two wedding titled films in a row...
~ I watched this just because of Colin Firth. Please don't judge me for enjoying it...
