As usual wonderful! I was gone in Japan for a bit and then I had marching band prep so I was wonderfully surprised to find a new Desperados fic!! I love Sammy and do hope you explain his medical issues, though I might have an idea or two what they are.
Great! And wouldn't it be interesting if they met up with someone who didn't approve of them? I like Sammy a lot, and I've been in the role of Liz many times. And why did House offer his left hand?
I don't comment much, sorry, but I've been following this for ages and I think it's completely adorable. I'm so glad David gets to be friends with Sammy.
I also kind of want to see someone have an adverse reaction to House/Wilson+David. Even if it's just some stranger freaking out on them.
Thanks for reading the stories, and for coming out of the closet. I've toyed with weird public reactions, including with people at the hospital, but I haven't done anything with that, yet (though I have written a couple of 'parental reaction' scenes). I'm not saying I'd never do it, it's just that, right now, the scene feels like something really tedious to write...sigh
Wow that´s a great start in the working week. Two of my favorite authors a posted a new story/chapter and I read them while I drank my first cup of coffee before I´ll begin to work. I mean, I have a lot of work to do but reading your stories is that important to me like taking a breath and having a heartbeat. I liked Liz´s reaction and I have to admit that I want to have a rosa world in wich every human accept the other humans in that way like they are. Not matter how they live their own life or how they look like or ... *huh brrr* Oh well, I know that is not possible and I´m naiv but this update let me feel warm and fuzzy inside and feeds my dream. I don´t want to know or think about the fact that the real humans in the real world don´t acting like the persons in your story. That makes your story more valuable to me. Thank you so much for sharing this great and emphatetically written story.
You're so nice. I can always count on your support for my entries. Thanks! I can understand liking rosy stories; life is hard enough, isn't it? Of course, the stories go better when there's a little struggle, or 'grit' as one comment said earlier.
Oh Wow. I've been AWOL for most of the summer which has been a bummer, but look at the pretties I've found waiting for me, not one but two new stories about David & Co--does the happy dance. I'll go back and comment on the granny from hell later, but I just wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying this part
( ... )
Welcome back! I love coming back to lots of stories, especially ones from my favorite authors.
I'm glad you like my Wilson. He was hard for me to get into - I frankly think that canon Wilson is much more pathological than House. My version of Wilson is much more of a sweetheart - I just choose to see the good stuff. :-)
I agree totally with your perception of House. He's a jerk, but he has a definite sense for right and wrong, and he's totally possessive about the people he chooses to care about. I never thought about the Stacy thing, but now that you mention it, I agree; it fits.
I've toyed with the idea of making one of Sammy's parents or other family members kind of difficult with David's parents being both male. It would work out with another aspect of the story. But I haven't crossed that bridge yet.
I really appreciate your comments, and thanks for reading (and re-reading!!!!)
