Ugh. I haven't updated in so long. I have been a huge ball of mixed emotions for the past 2 months. Add 4 days of the worst PMS ever, and I really should be wearing a straight jacket instead of a grey 50's style dress with full skirt and open toe purple heels with ruffles. Things that caused what I believe is leading up to the great breakdown of ( Read more... )

I am so sorry about your grandfather! You are a rock star for managing that trip with all that stress.

I also super hate change. SUPER SUPER HATE. Ben said he was sure until Lilah was about 3 months old that I was just going to get up and leave one day and never come back because having her was too much change. Actually, I was pretty sure that would happen, too. *mother of the year, folks*

I would also be absolutely distraught not being able to have my pet on board with me :-(

You have a lot of stress right now! You are handling it very well it seems, since you are not drunk or flung over a bridge, which are my first two go-to stress solutions.

Totally miss your posts. Looking forward to regular posts to return once you get back to Canada! And you will just have to be the best dressed girl in Canada...no need for Italy you to go by the wayside!

Aww I feel bad about Willy. Nothing I can say will make you feel better. But I'm so proud of him staying in his crate! Way to go Willy!!! Give him treats for me.

What are your reasons for quitting smoking? Peer pressure?

I agree with Rachael, there is no need to tone down the awesome outfits. Just set a new precedent for Ottawa!

Things are looking better for the bagle, see my response to Rach. I can't believe he stayed in his crate either! Without making a sound.

Reasons:
- I heard somewhere that it is bad for your health
- don't want out new house to smell like smoke
- don't like something else being in control of my life
- don't want to smell like smoke
- healthier for Willy
- want to reach 30 minutes on elliptical
- want to have a baby some day
- $$$$, it is way more expensive to smoke in Canada

So, lots of really great reasons. Each day is getting easier. The weekend was a big milestone. I don't think I will be totally comfortable until a month though.

I'll see what I can do:)

Are you going to join a gym here or buy all kinds of fancy work out equipment for your house? You could put a giant mirror on a wall!!!
