I assume you're referring to my comment. :P If so, don't worry. I'm not at all bothered if it's not a happy ending for everyone--it makes the story more realistic. Besides, as long as you're happy with it, nothing else matters. It's your story, hun. ^__^

But they don't know about the sequel. ^_^ But I think the ending you gave it is more satisfying, really, then if you'd gone with a happy ending, even just by itself. It makes it less a simple love story and more about Greg's journey, which, in the end, is far more interesting.
