This is incredibly nitpicky but it always drives me crazy... everyone who has a jaw has TMJ, because it's a joint in your jaw (temporomandibular joint, to be exact). TMJ disorders is when your TMJ causes pain problems.

Sorry, seeing that is just one of my HULK RAGE flashpoints... ;)

I... almost posted the same thing. I got my friends to start saying TMJD by replying with "I have TMJ, too! Two of them, in fact!" and making them feel dumb for a second.

Also look for massage therapists who have specialized in intraoral massage. While I didn't specialize in it, we did learn about it, and one of the major things it helps to relieve is the pain and pressure of TMJD.

Acupuncture helps somewhat for me to relieve the pain and stop the tension headaches. Treating the muscles in the neck is especially important.
