I'm tring to decide on a new brand of deodorant to try and I'm wondering what works. What is your preferred brand of natural deodorant?

Also, can tea tree oil help scars fade or does vitamin E work best?

For the deodorant I like Nature's Gate. They have pretty scents. However - if you have a problem with wetness, I have yet to discover a good natural deodorant that does much for that (hence deodorant (odor) not anti-perspirent). Do let me know if you find one! lol

As far as scars go, I'd definitely go with vit E. Aloe and coconut oil are good as well for skin health. If it's new scarring and there is redness chamomile/calendula or cucumber would help also.

I like the Jason one with tea tree oil. The Tom's of Maine ones never really worked for me.

One of my "reset merchandiser" jobs is that I put together the deodorant section in brand new Publix grocery stores. Anyways I've wondered about these Toms deodorants since they are the MAIN natural deodorant brand in the section. This comment really is just a blabber so...yeah. I guess I just love knowing different things so this caught my interest. (lol?)

This. Jason with tea tree is good for getting rid of odor, the aloe vera is great for moisturizing dry armpits.

The Nature's Gate stuff just won't work with me, it smells great but it goes on wet and stays wet while the Jason deo's go on kinda damp and dry up if you give them a few moments.

I use the kiss my face roll on mineral salt stuff (I used to use the deodorant stone roll on but this is the same thing and easier for me to find) every other day. The other days I use just baking soda. Works well. In the winter I really only need to use the roll on but in the summer or when I'm working up a tremendous amount of sweat (running or martial arts) I use baking soda.

Can I ask how you go about applying the baking soda? Does it work well for persperation?

I take a pinch and sprinkle/rub it on. It won't keep you as dry as commercial deodorants but it works better in the summer for me. It's really good at keeping odor down, esp. when it's hot and humid here in Delaware.

best one I've found that works for me is Nourish's deodorant from www.mountainroseherbs.com under body care.

I wasn't compatible with well known natural deo's because of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) turns out I'm sensitive to it and as for the popular brand Tom's after a few weeks use I developed a rash because of their ingredient Propylene glycol..just two ingredients to look out for if you're sensitive.
