So for the future you should always rinse it with hot water after use and promptly dry it with a towel and leave it to thoroughly dry on a plate of some sort.
i didn't think hydrogen peroxide would work? i can definitely try that. and probably vinegar. i realized i didn't have any alcohol, so that wasn't going to happen. at least not right away.
well, you know I just remembered that cleaning with vinegar/water 1:1 followed by hydro perox is a strong cleaner, more affective than any chemical agent on the market.
Well, it's made of salt which dissolves in water, so I'd just hold it under running water and scrub it really well with your hands for about three minutes. The outer layer should dissolve and take any nasties with it. If that doesn't do it, I'd say it's not fixable and toss it. You don't want to be putting anything back on your skin that isn't killable with the deodorant stick.
man, i don't know why i don't think of these things! i'll try that as well. i wanted to avoid tossing it because i've only had it for three or four months so there's so much left, but i guess if it happens, it happens.
Only, the spray bottle that it came in kind of sucks. The lid was leaking somewhere and it dribbled out instead of spraying in a mist. So I put the liquid into a different spray bottle and it works fine now. I don't know if all of them are like that or if I just got a bad bottle.
