JET and Original-fic ramblings

I got made an alternate for JET. This is good! ...and yet my life will be virtually on hold until December. But the paperwork is all sent off as of yesterday so all I need to do is wait for the call. I expect the first ones will go out around the 24th... because odds are at least one of their first picks will miss that all important paperwork

Hush and Jet

I clicked on the link to find out if you were even still around, hoping to maybe find out if you'd ever be continuing Hush (which is by far still one of my favorite stories I've read. The fact that I even still remember the title after over 3 years is testament to that).

Then I come and see right at the top that your an alternate for the Jet Programme. I've been contemplating the Jet programme since last year when my Japanese teacher brought it up and then more seriously this year when I met a man from the consulate in my area and he suggested I go for it as well. Though I'm a bit wary about being on my own for a year in a foreign country. Good luck with that. I'd be very curious to see how you find it if you are selected.

And on the topic that I actually came here for, might we ever be seeing a conclusion to Hush. That is such an awesome story and a unique idea, it would be too sad for it to be unfinished.
