Unexpected weekend

My plan for this weekend was going to a Cactus carnival with my friend on Saturday and working on designs on Sunday, but my plan got cancel.

On Saturday after work I texted my friend to know what time he was coming to pick me. He replied that he was not sure about going to the festival because it was far away, he was still busy and it was late.

I've never heard the word cacti before, I just learned it! I use "cactus" both for singular and plural because I'm not sure what the Spanish plural is for that word.

The cacti are really nice - I never manage to keep mine alive because I tend to give them too much water.

Many of my cactuses I have them for 8 years or more, they are the perfect plant for me because I usually forget to water the plants :D

I wanted to go out with him to that cactus festival, carnival or whatever you call it, but he had some errands to do. We will go to the next festival on June 9th :)

Those are some cool cactuses. Some don't even look like a cactus lol.
