Subscription or Acces?

 So, all my entries are public and I just use private entries for write about very personal things, like sex :P
I think I don't need give grant acces to people because they can subscribe to my journal if they want to read this, right?

If I give grant acces to someone, will this person be able to read my private post or they will be able to read

If you make an entry 'friends only' then only people you list as friends can read it.

If you set the security of a post to 'private' then only you can read it.

You can also create groups and then lock entries so only people in certain groups can read it.

If an entry is public, then people who are not on your friends list can also read it.

yes, my doubt was about Dreamwidth journal I wasn't sure how the acces works there since instead friend you give acces to other users. I do crosspost with LJ
