We live on-base, in what is military housing for another month, at which time, the military has turned over the base housing to a private firm. We're not pleased as punch about this, but right at this very moment, my biggest 'beef' with the housing privatization is the big inspection tomorrow. I am a terrible housewife. Terrible. Sounds painful, but necessary, I guess. Just as long as those small press magazines you threw out don't include old copies of The Leading Edge. :)

I'm undergoing my own round of purging and re-arranging to get ready for our first baby. Fortunately, we don't expect her (yes, we already know the sex) until May. :) Unfortunately, it means that going to Balticon is unlikely --- it's too close to my due date -- but a friend has offered to agent for me; now I just have remember to get the reservation form in. :)

Wow, BIG huge congratulations on your firstborn!!! That's really great news. Babies take up a lot of time, but they are wonderful.
