He shook his head and tried to find happy thoughts. Puppies. Kittens. Turtles. Cinnamon.... wait, what?
Sniff.
Definitely cinnamon.
The Italian followed the curiously appetizing smell to the break room, which seemed to be it's source, conveniently.
"What smells so good...?"

It scrambled pathetically against the unforgiving slats of the blinds, ridiculously long legs bending unnaturally against the white fabric, its thin wings clicking as they struggled to keep the monstrosity upright. It almost writhed as it dragged itself to the edge of the window ledge, fighting to reach the pane's glass, as large as the crystal ball paperweight he'd bought last year as a joke for Bjorn and somehow ended up keeping himself.
Freaking hugeHe watched it with slight morbid fascination from the comfortable slouch of his office chair, bouncing himself idly with the foot he'd balanced on the edge of his cabinet as he drew in the horrified shudders of passing secretaries. He couldn't help it: he swore, he'd never seen one so large. It was creepy, in an awesome kind of way, with the way its antenna flicked out before it like two creeping tongues - but still, it was a heck of an impressive bug, a full twice the size of the usual 'fly. Looking out at the large group of people, he noticed Feliciano and gave a short wave.
"I wonder if he even sees me in this mess..."

You came in here for coffee... go get your coffee. Maybe one of those wondrous churros... and get back to work. With that internal chiding, he walked over to the coffee machine only to be met with the one person he really wanted to see in this mess. "Lovino!" he cried happily and bounded over, refraining from hugging the man- he knew hot coffee on skin hurt, and he didn't want to mess up his brother's suit. He'd hug him after he set the coffee down.

Then he almost tensed, seeing Feliciano poke his head out of the mob of people around the smell of cinnamon. Inwardly he grew wary and moved back a few more steps, taking another sip of the caffeinated beverage- the other twin looked like he was about to jump onto his brother in addition to greeting him.
He didn't and Berwald's shoulders slumped a few inches- thank goodness that hadn't happened. Leaning back so his lower half was supported by the counter, he resumed back to finishing his drink, intent on getting out before anyone tried conversation with him.

He expelled that heavy air from his chest and rest against the counter with his still half-filled cup of coffee and churro. Ah, shit. He hadn't filled up his cup...and now the coffee was all cold.
He looked to his right and there, around the coffee table were three people that he recognized: Berwald, Lovino, and Feliciano.
A slightly wicked grin crossed his face when he got a glimpse of Romano's nice ass. Ahh, those days in college were so enjoyable. And, without a thought more, he approached feeling welcomed to the slightly crowded coffee corner.
"'Allo, mes chers!" he chuckled.

Gilbert laughed happily as he returned the hug Feliciano gave him enthusiastically. It was shaping up to be an awesome day so far - he should take more breaks, since it meant more awesome stuff happening.
“Haha, unfortunately! One good thing is that you get to see me again!” Gilbert smirked, barely keeping himself from bouncing due to enthusiastic glee. “Saturday good for you?”

"Sure, Saturday's great!" he smiled happily, switching his grip from Gilbert to Lovino. He hadn't hugged his brother in a good five minutes, he was overdue.

"Aaaah, get offa me, you goof." He extracted Feliciano's arms from himself and gave his brother a nice hair-ruffling.
In actuality, Lovino had been listening in on Gilbert and Feliciano's conversation. Not that he couldn't. He was right there, after all. It was making him seethe a little on the inside, that his precious little brother might fall into the hands of that person right under his nose. He wasn't making too much of a fuss about it now. No, that would blow his cover if he decided to crash their date...
His stomach growled... he really should have grabbed one of those churros.

"Awesome! Noon at the mall, then." Gilbert could barely keep himself from crowing. It didn't even occur to him to check if the time was alright with the Italian.
