Summary: Kiku, having missed his stop on the train, gets off at the next stop north only to find that he had fallen victim to muggers! Sadiq to the rescue!

It was a warm night. Sadiq was sweltering into his suit jacket, his arms leaden down with his usual bag of groceries and his laptop slung over his shoulder. At that moment, all he wanted to do was get home, open that box of cream puffs and soak in his bathtub while he watched So You Think You Can Dance on the TV he just put in his bathroom.

Sighing heavily, Sadiq happened to shift his eyes in the other direction, not looking at anything in particular. Of course, he notices three people standing in an alleyway looking like well-well, shit! Sadiq's eyes widened, and he dropped his things immediately, sprinting in the direction of the alleyway.

Growling as he approached the attackers, he promptly gave the one holding down the poor, innocent person against the brick wall a nice punch in the stomach before kicking the other guy where it counts. He was too winded for words, so he just kept shoving and punching the two attackers, not having taken a moment to see who they'd been trying to mug.

Caught completely off guard, the older man fell victim to Sadiq's strong kick, falling to his knees and dropping the knife he too had been preparing. As he slid his hands forward to push himself up, he realized his partner had been hit in the junk and that the commotion was attracting attention from other people on the street. Quickly, he assembled his plan and ran forward to grab and drag his comrade away, not getting too far before he began begging for forgiveness from the big Turk, trying to scram as quick as possible.

Kiku fell to his knees, gripping his briefcase tightly as he suck in air through his teeth, unsure of his status. He knew he wasn't being held down but he didn't know if he was safe, or even who had saved him.

Sadiq managed to grab the two attackers by their collars, glaring angrily at them before knocking their heads together like he beat up guys every single day.

"Gimme yer names," he demanded, growling at them. "Gimme yer names before I throw yer goddamn pathetic asses into the dumpster."

The one attacker may as well had pissed his pants, his lip bleeding and his groin hurting like hell. "J-Just let us go," he managed, struggling to get out of Sadiq's grip. "W-We'll give you our names..."

The older man waved his hands weakly, blurting out their names quickly and gruffly. "Lee and Simon-- please, we wont bother this neighborhood again! Just let us be!"

Kiku curled up tightly, rubbing his eyes lightly to remove tears as he struggled to figure out just what his situation was. God he was in so much pain the worse kind of way.
