Not that it hadn't been a magnificent play, but Feliciano had seen no need to jump up over it. He did, however, wiggle a little in his seat- six points on the other team, it was incredible! He could see why Ludwig had been so excited.

It wasn't soccer but it was still exciting, he decided as one of the players tackled his way through a veritable wave of people. "Go, go, go!" he cheered excitedly.

Kiku blinked hard, closing one eye with a sigh as he set the beer down, nasty...
"A-Ah, I am not used to this kind of... liquor."

He blushed as Ludwig leaped to his feet, watching the two of them clap and cheer, not quite sure what was going on.
"So--So.. Uhm, something good happened? Some one was touched and fell down?" Kiku had never watched a football game in his life and as such had NO idea what it was about.

Ludwig had always enjoyed the taste of beer, so he found it strange that Kiku was not particularly fond of it. "It takes getting used to, I guess," he mumbled, eyes unblinkingly staring forward.

He immediately snapped out of his trance at Kiku's sad attempt at describing what a touchdown was. Is he serious?! he thought. "Yeah, he fell down, but that's not the point. He crossed that line" he said, walking up to the television and pointing at the goal line, "which means he scored points for the team." Am I really going to have to teach him about football? He sighed and crossed his arms. "Understand?"

"A-Ah so when one crosses over that thick white line they score a point... and the other lines... Oh sorry, I am bothering you with my ignorance. In my home there are no thinks like this football, so I am not so in tune with the rules." He spoke slowly, his accent poking through ever so lightly as the older, yet smaller, male tried to follow the game.

He glanced at Feliciano sighing some as her worried, finding himself sipping the disgusting fermented grain drink before he knew it to settle his embarrassment some.

"Back in Italy, this isn't football." Feliciano said idly, not taking his eyes off the screen- just because America had decided to call this sport the wrong name didn't mean it wasn't interesting. "What they call soccer here is football there."

Another thing he thought about (but kept to himself) was that the sport itself was a lot less violent than this... maybe not the spectators but the sport itself. And the points system was a lot less complicated- how did one get that number when points were given in sevens? That number wasn't even close to a multiple of seven! Oh... even though he'd lived here for as long as he could remember he would never get used to this country.

"Ah, I know soccer! Back home I watch soccer all the time on television but... we also call it soccer-- are we calling it the wrong way? This is called 'American football' in Japanese." He sipped the beer again, almost spiting it out as he had forgotten what exactly it was.

"So, they just... hit each other? It reminds me of Sumo but... far more.. well... it's a bit much... and those pants are, well, distracting." Tried to ignore the numerous obvious packages showing through their tight spandex pants.

"Hm... maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing." Feliciano mused, wondering if he should call his grandpa and make sure... nah. Probably busy. Best to not disturb him.

"Sumo?" he asked, wondering what that was; he didn't remember ever having a discussion about sports with Kiku, he mostly remembered Kiku trying to get him to buckle down and study (emphasis on trying), and Feliciano trying to worm out of it with promises of food and finished homework at a later date if they could just hang out and watch TV or something. He took a closer look and almost dropped his beer, blushing vibrantly when he noticed what Kiku had meant by 'distracting'. "I-I see what you mean." he said, feeling like a guy watching a train wreck almost.
