Always a fan of football, Ludwig had been looking forward to the school's final game ever since the season started. Anything done at a normal game was twice as spectacular during the final. He only regretted that he couldn't be there himself, and instead had to make do with watching via television with Feliciano for company.

The game had been going on for almost two hours and now it was half-time; the school's marching band played the anthem loudly as they marched in perfect formation. In fact, it was so loud that he didn't even notice the knocking at the door until the one knocking appeared in the room. Looking over his shoulder, Ludwig saw Kiku and remembered with a jolt why he invited Feliciano to his apartment in the first place: they were supposed to be studying!

"Oh, hello Kiku," he replied, blushing slightly at his mistake. "Yeah, come in." He sat up straight, trying to rally the popcorn that was scattered across the floor into his hand, emptying them into an empty cup that previously contained beer. "Did you bring the notes

Feliciano had a can of beer in hand (not really his drink, but it was THE game and THE game called for alcohol, so beer would have to do for now), eyes focused on the game on screen. He almost missed the knock, turning his head when he noticed Ludwig sweeping popcorn into a cup... damn, had he spilled popcorn again? He looked to see Kiku, and had the feeling he was supposed to remember something...

"Hi, Kiku!" he cheered happily, deciding the school marching band could easily be ignored... now he just had to remember... wait. Books. Why'd Kiku have books if they were going to watch the game... oh. SNAP.

Kiku crossed the threshold slowly, stumbling a bit over his own feet with a soft sigh. Kiku stood awkwardly in the doorway, turning to shut the door a bit nervously.

"S-Sorry to be intruding..." He looked at the beer and blinked some. Both of his students were under aged. He considered scolding them but decided not to as he realized what they were watching.

"A-Ah, this is the final game, right..? Sorry, I didn't realize they were playing today when I planned the meeting... I can go... we- we can reschedule..."

It wasn't as if Kiku didn't want to watch but... they were friends and he was some third wheel outsider. In all truthfulness, Kiku did not know how to really interact with people, even now.

Kiku was a renowned scholar and the head of his division as far as TAs went, but still he was never invited to drink with them, bowl with them, they didn't even invite him to lunch. Kiku was a fairly isolated person, even at his school were he was a high ranking student.

"Huh~? Reschedule?" Feliciano asked, amazed. He knew his tutor, his friend was isolated- he'd seen that apartment and those models. Someone who could put together something that complex even once had to have a lot of time on his hands. He figured he didn't get out much.

"No way!" Feliciano said, getting to his feet to drag Kiku over to the couch. "You should come watch the game with us, it's getting REALLY good~! WEll, right now it's only halftime, but the band is really good today!"

Ludwig turned his attention back to the television as the half-time show neared its end. There was no way he could miss the game, but he did feel bad for making Kiku come just to send him away. "It should be over soon. We can study afterwards," he told Kiku, eyes glued to the screen. "Is that alright?" He took a gulp of the beer in his hand, scooting over to make room for Kiku on the couch.

Kiku blushed hard as he was dragged into the apartment by the rather rambunctious Italian, pushed onto the couch some with an audible yelp, surprised. He rubbed his neck setting his books into his backpack and set the back down the floor with a nod.

"O-Okay I.. I can watch... an-and it's f-f-fine... Ludwig." He looked to the alcohol again with a blush. He wondered how much they had had... almost working out a formula in his mind.

Truthfully, Kiku had never had beer before...
"Is that... beer?" Their tiny TA asked curiously.

Ludwig finished the can he was holding, crushed it, and almost missed tossing it in a very full recycling bin in the corner. They had been drinking for a while now, and the alcohol was slowly starting to affect his coordination. As he leaned over the arm rest to get another can, he asked Kiku, "want some?" holding out a can toward his small TA.

"A-Aren't you both under aged? How did you... A-Ah, yes please, I would... I would like one if it is not too much trouble of course."

He nodded his head weakly, trying to stop himself from scolding them, knowing it would really get him nowhere anyway...
