Time: 17th century (1600s)

Question for: European Nation-tans, though I'm interested to see what other Nation-tans have to say...

Question: The place is 17th century Europe, a time period where many scientific discoveries are being made and the philosophy called skepticism is gaining popularity.
In case your memories are foggy... )

Well I don't know much about philosophy, seeing as I'm only a colony right now, and I have no universities [HAHA! Wait until next century!]

History, God, and emotions seem real enough to me, but who has time to think about that when winter is here, and I still got to chop more fire wood! And I here witches in Salem are ruining the crops this year!

Things like that are for England to waste time and think of. Anyways, I here there are some witch trials going on in Salem, Mass, so I get to you on that.

I'll get back to you after I tame this wild frontier.
