Because of smoke in the sky, it make it very difficult to sell fruit to Europe! I had to sell locally and fruit is so cheap to buy at home... Europeans pay more for export fruit, you know? And Germany was suppose to come over for short business but then... airplane cancel because of all the smoke...

[sighs.] But it seem getting better now! It is not so dangerous to be flying anymore ah.

Oh it's not so bad. Had to ground a few flights, but it could always be worse! When it started I liked to sit outside and try to guess when we'd start seeing ash. Fun games!
