Favourite Carols?

Question For: All the Nation-tans who celebrate Christmas.
Question: So, Christmas is rapidly approaching!  In your personal opinions, which of the Christmas carols (or hymns) your country wrote would be your favourite and why?

There are lots of Finnish Christmas carols to choose from (and I like Christmas carols from other countries, too), but this one is my favourite. I guess it's because of the lyrics? The song is called Sylvia's Christmas Song - oh, but since the writer of the words to the song was a Swedish-speaking Finn, it was written in Swedish first and then translated into Finnish later.

Ah... Christmas is still some time away for me, Not until January 7th, but some are already fasting for the event~!

As for carols... I don't have any paticular use for them other than at the church... Ah... and I got most of them from my Older Sister~ they are sung in Church Slavonic.

Well, American Christmas carols are close to British ones, except they're jazzier, and don't involve figgy-pudding.

My favorite is "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Riendeer", "Silver Bells", and "Jingle Bells"

I have several favourites, many of which were tunes used when doing traditional wassailing, and a few that are religious in nature. Perhaps you know about "We Wish You A Merry Christmas," "Here We Come A-Wassailing," "Deck The Hall," "I Saw Three Ships," "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman" (yes, it is punctuated in that manner), "The Twelve Days Of Christmas" and many others.

this one, called "Angel from the Heaven" is very nice! It tells the story of the birth of baby Jesus... I guess everyone in Hungary knows this song by heart!
