Oh, yum!!! These look fantastic! I only crave them very rarely, as they are unbelievably sweet, but right about now I wouldn't say no!! :-P
Did you make them yourself?

Yes, I dont even understand how they can reach that level of sweetness :P They must use concentrated sugar if such thing exists, haha !!
and nooo.. There was a small international market in town on saturday, with several stands. That was at the greek stand. Couldnt resist of course :D

this is evil. I had a loaf of banana bread yesterday, which might have somehow consoled me as a distant alternative, but today all I can do is taste baklava, & listen to my angry stomach, which has no imagination, telling me that I have failed it. It requires baklava!

We have a good Mediterranean restaurant just up the street. The owner is the cook. His wife is the waitress. It's called Byblos. They have amazing baklava, & gyros & tabuli salad & grape leaves & lamb skewers & all that the heart desires, the freshest produce. Hummus! But I have not the fundage & am too shy of mulah to do anythin but window shop.

it isn't a desert. it is a dip & garnish. You put dip pita bread vegetables, etc. As an appetizer.
