apartment update & other stuff

So, I figured everything out! The landlord and the property manager came by on Wednesday and looked at the apartment after I wrote them an email complaining about the state of the place saying it had been misrepresented and that I wanted out by the end of the month. They didn't seem to be aware of just how horrible things were and were pretty

Yay! I'm glad there has been progress and you'll get to be in a better apartment soon!

I had an adviser all through college and never really used her. I had one in grad school too and barely used her too :P I knew what I wanted to take and how I wanted to get through so I didn't need a lot of advice.

That's good to know. I was worried that they'd want me to consult him on everything and I'm not sure what to talk to him about. I sat down yesterday and went over the prospectus for my master's thesis again because I have to hand it in at some point in Germany (yay email) and I figured that I'd have something to talk about to the advisor if I needed to.

And yeah, it's such a relief to know that I'm moving somewhere nicer.

Excellent news! I'm so glad your housing situation is being sorted out in a good way. And it sounds like everything else is going smoothly, too, so yay!

Basically the registrar just handles student records.

My adviser for my first three years of college could never even remember my name.
