it seems odd to me that molly does a complete 360 on her attitude about remus. and it seemed odd that she called ron 'ronnie'.

I don't Molly actually did a complete turn-around here. I think Remus might have misinterpreted things a bit. He felt guilty himself about Fred's death when he went to visit the Weasleys after the war. And he was a bit out of it at that time.
Maybe Molly has been waiting for him to give her the chance to set things right.

i really like the way you portray a matured yet still youthful ron here. does that make sense? he still has all of his stubborness and determination of youth, but his aquired wisdom allows him to employ them in a more mature manner.

so glad to see that molly was so welcoming. there really is nothing quite like knowing you belong to a real family.

Yes, ickle Ronnie has matured.
I'll admit that I have trouble writing Ron, unless there has been some sort of trauma in his life which allows me to add some maturity. Of course, I suppose he would have grown up all by himself eventually. Well, I'm just evil and like to torture him a bit.
