Without sounding holier-than-thou, without sounding condescending in any way...can I just say I am completely and utterly terrified by the implications of the things I see (and don't see) in the news? I'm scared shitless by what's going on all around me, and no one else seems to really be noticing

Best thing anyone can do is prepare themselves for when SHTF... not if, but when. It's too late, nothing can be saved, people can't learn.

But all the preparation in the world will not save me if my groundwater is polluted and global climate fluctuations cause mass flooding and they keep dumping SHIT in my rivers. :<
