Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Waking Up
He woke up in barely lit room. As he slowly sat up from his lying position he looked around to see his surroundings, he noticed that he was in a bedroom. He could see a window, with closed curtains, on his left with a small table underneath it. Then he realized that he was sitting on something soft and as he looked down he could see that he was sitting on a bed.
He frowned when he wanted to move his hands; they had bound his hands together. He cursed softly; mad at himself for not noticing earlier. As he focused on the rest of the room again he could make out a door on the other side of the room, facing the bed.
He quickly glanced down to see if his ankles were bound together, letting out a small sigh of relieve when he saw that he could move his legs around without any restriction. He threw his legs over the left side of the bed.
As he was sitting on the edge of the bed he knew that it wouldn’t be long before someone would be checking on him. Knowing he hadn’t had much time left anymore, he stood up intending to walk to the window next to the bed. As he stood, he knew that he stood up too fast, since his vision went black for a couple of seconds.
Quickly sitting back down again, he suddenly realized that they had knocked him out before bringing him here. He grimaced, that explained the heavy headache he was currently experiencing. As his vision slowly cleared he decided to try again. Only slowly this time.
When he was finally standing next to the bed, facing the window, he decided to take it slow. Since he had a feeling that more was to come. In small, careful steps he made his way over to the window.
He leaned with his shoulder on the edge of the wall, next to the window. Now he needed to figure out a way to open the curtains without moving too much, since his head was starting to hurt more the more he moved.
He figured that he could use his teeth to pull the curtain open enough to see through the window. Maybe then he could figure out where he was. As he pulled the curtain open a couple of centimetres, he already felt the little hope he had disappear.
It was completely dark outside. He couldn’t see any more than a couple of meters in the dark. He sighed and almost banged his head on the glass, but he realized on time that his head would only hurt more after that. As it was he could hardly stand on his feet anymore the way his head was feeling right now.
Before he had a change to make his way back to the bed, the door opposite the bed opened to reveal a shadowed figure.
