Spring Awakening

Barb, Leslie, Mom and I saw Spring Awakening last night- it was totally awesome, and I so glad that Barb bought the soundtrack so that I can listen to the songs that are currently stuck in my head.

I've been thinking about this whole concept for awhile. I had a good answer a couple of days ago...but I've forgotten it now.

What I am thinking now is that muppets/puppets are something that bring up Childhood connotations...so I think the reason that I might have been more shocked by Avenue Q puppet sex is because you don't expect puppets to act like that. Yes, I laughed through it, but when was the last time you saw puppets have sex (Avenue Q excluded)

And you are right, we are a desensitized world. When everything in the movies is about sex, drugs, and war...teens having sex just seems normal. I don't agree it's right, but I think I have to face reality that it's the truth.
