Goodness gracious.

I'm not really sure why I don't really write in my livejournal anymore. It's kind of sad, really, when I look back at the older archives and how I chronicled my life journey over a time that was very meaningful to me, as well as being very painful and difficult, as well as joyful. I know I would benefit from journalling again. I sort of have a " ( Read more... )

Hello, some vitamins that have helped me out is magnesium citrate. I don't believe people are getting enough magnesium in their diets and it's the base vitamin that helps absorb all of the other vitamins. Does that make sense? lol. Anyway, I take it along with flax seed in my probiotic yogurt and that gives you some more magnesium, protein, and omega 3's. But yes, I'm sure going gluten free will help along with maybe some antioxidants whenever you can eat some. I'm a bit of a health/vitamin freak so yeah..hopefully that helped. ;)

Thanks for the tip! It can be so daunting, the incredible amounts of information and conflicting information out there. I will definitely try the flax/yogurt/magnesium combo (my mom makes excellent homemade yogurt, and in the spring I'll even be providing my own homegrown goat and sheep milk for her to use).

Congrats on the schedule change; it sounds like you very much require sunlight to be happy, so I hope this works out for you and the livestock!

" I wonder what changed over the years where my desire to write here suddenly turned off? I mean, obviously much of the fandoms I used to be involved with on LJ have simmered down or my interest has waned, but I used to mostly journal about my life anyway. Huh. Maybe it's just getting older and struggling more to have enough energy to get through a day, let alone write about it. "I think that a lot of changes happened, and it was hard to keep up. And yeis, fandomness got weird ( ... )

It's good to hear from you here! Glad to hear that you're enjoying goats in real life as well as through my FB, and thanks as always for your kind words about my art. Though that is a damn shame about the lady jabbing above Snape's head. I don't have much patience for people who think they're somehow about "watching" Harry Potter. Grrr.

I've slacked on Livejournal as well--I'm journaling much more in my pen-&-paper journals than I am anywhere online. For some reason, whenever I write in my Livejournal, I feel like I need to write to be interesting, informative, charismatic, etc. to prevent my f-list from just skimming. I want to journal semi-publicly in the same way that I speak.

It's probably a fear of being written off & disregarded or something, but whenever I write in journals that I know are completely private, I feel more uninhibited. Then whenever it's written out, I feel better about sharing it. Weird, no?

Good hearing from you! I always enjoy reading your thoughts about art, life, and goaties <3
