I always wondered about the whole birds-dying-on-assault business. I mean, they could have been portrayed as simply being dazed and dented a la Wile E Coyote - but nope, we see them fatally vanish in a puff of feathers.

Even creepier are the bomber birds, who use their unborn as weapons. If the birds are so angry about stolen eggs, you'd think this would be frowned upon.

I just realized something else -- you still win even if all the birds are dead, so long as you kill all the pigs. It's a fairly bleak outlook on life.

I'm not sure if they've reached other places, but there are plushie angry birds being sold on street corners here in Hong Kong. I'm tempted to buy them so I can throw them at people.
